Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified Full-Time General Accountant who will play a key role in preparing financial reports, preparing monthly journal entries, general ledgers; reconciliations, job costing and general bookkeeping. There will also be some administrative duties to be performed such as providing telephone support and filing.

This is a full-time position in our Fowlerville, MI headquarters and reports to the Director of Administration.

Job Description

Work closely with both the CFO and Director of Administration to assist with day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department.

  • Full charge bookkeeping for a small subsidiary
  • Job Costing
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Credit
  • Fixed Assets
  • Weekly/Monthly reporting
  • Month End account reconciliations
  • Manage Expense reporting
  • Other duties as needed


  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting from accredited college or university
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in accounting field
  • Must be extremely organized and exhibit a high degree of attention to detail
  • Experience with Quickbooks a plus
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and heavy workload
