Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified Lead Project Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the overall performance of our project management team to ensure efficiency of operations and quality of customer service. In addition to leading the project management team, you will be responsible for managing several large custom bulletproof barrier projects for key customers in a variety of industries.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management team meetings
  • Mentor and coach project management team members to meet or exceed TSS quality and service standards
  • Create and document project management processes and best practices
  • Select and configure tools to optimize project management processes
  • Train team members in the use of tools and processes to ensure compliance with best practices
  • Monitor compliance with processes and best practices, take corrective action to ensure efficiency
  • Coordinate resolution of issues with Internal and External Sales team
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget - with high customer satisfaction
  • Work with sales team to foster strong personal relationships with key customers and prospects.
  • Plan and coordinate project scheduling and administrative tasks.
  • Manage task lists to ensure that critical activities are being monitored and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Function as the project champion, ensuring that all project activities are coordinated and managed to success
  • Remove obstacles and facilitate communication between project team members
  • Plan and manage all activities with contractors (installers)
  • Communicate regularly and proactively with customers; track and respond to customer requests
  • Coordinate scope changes or issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Team management and supervision experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service, account management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to focus on multiple tasks at one time
  • Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems
  • Financial planning and strategy skills, with the ability to track budget expenses
  • Strong leadership abilities - delegating work and scheduling / prioritizing
  • Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot potential engineering issues
  • Commercial Construction Experience preferred
